BEST-SELLING TAHINI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MIX
100% Organic, Vegan, Gluten-free Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
Yields approximately 12 cookies (with a 1 oz. ice cream scoop)
What you need: we recommend organic ingredients for you tahini chocolate chip cookies. Use what you have available.
- 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp (140 g) organic vegan salted butter
- 1/2 Tbsp (9 g) vanilla extract
- Parchment paper
Procedure -
- Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees,
- Make sure butter is cold/chilled. Room temperature butter will result in an overly soft cookie.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar, vanilla, and tahini in an electric mixer.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix in the mixer. Then, add the organic coconut sugar-sweetened chocolate chips.
- Let it cool in the fridge for 30 min.
- Line a sheet tray with parchment paper.
- Use an ice cream scoop (size is your choice!) to measure each cookie, spaced at least 4" apart. Dip the bottom of each cookie in the sesame seeds provided.
- Bake for 4 minutes. Rotate the sheet tray and bake for another 4 min. Be careful not to over-bake. Check for slightly brown edges.
- Allow cookies to cool at room temperature before enjoying (the butter will re-solidify, which keeps the cookie together).
- Cookies can be stored in the freezer or refrigerator, but we don't think these will last long enough to store.
*Important! every oven is different. Please keep an eye on your baking time. Yours may require less or more time.
